The Fentanyl Crisis with Beth Weinstock, MD of BirdieLight

  • Upper Arlington High School - Performing Arts Center 1625 Zollinger Road Upper Arlington, OH, 43221 United States (map)

Join is as we welcome Beth Weinstock – physician, poet, mother, and co-founder of Bexley, Ohio-based BirdieLight. Beth's eldest son, Eli, was a college sophomore focused on his future when he died from an unintentional fentanyl ingestion in March 2021.

After presenting to the full UAHS student body and staff during the school day, Beth will devote an evening program to educate parents and the community about fentanyl - and why she calls it "the greatest public health crisis this generation is facing." Learn what fentanyl is, where it is found, and get the tools to stay safe from it.

This program is offered in partnership with Upper Arlington High School, and with thanks to the Upper Arlington Education Foundation for generous funding support.

Recommended for students, parents/caregivers, and community members ages 13+.
